DISCLOSURE STATEMENT

• I am a Registered Dietitian, Licensed in the state of North Carolina.
• I am a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, the world’s largest association for nutrition professionals and adhere to their Code of Ethics.
• I am employed full-time by Ingles Supermarkets
• I receive NO money from vendors, brokers or brands to promote products.
• I do at times receive product samples for my review as part of my position.
• Any reviews of products are based on my personal preference (taste) and a nutrition assessment based on my professional observation and training as a registered dietitian.
• As part of my position I am permitted to attend trips and conferences that benefit my education and my ability to inform consumers. Often these trips are sponsored by brands, commodities and practice groups.
• As part of my position I occasional speak to groups and some of my travel expenses may be paid by food councils or groups.
• I occasionally am asked to serve in an Advisory capacity for various food councils or organizations.  Typically these positions are not compensated.
• I pledge to do my best to use science as my guide.
